StarShip supports write-back to custom and other fields in the Fishbowl Client. StarShip can access any custom (user defined) fields associated with the Shipment. Custom fields must be mapped to StarShip fields in order for write-back to occur.
Some of the Fishbowl fields are mapped by default; other fields can be mapped to write back to Fishbowl as desired.
Fishbowl Online Custom Fields
To set up custom fields in Fishbowl Online, go to Sales > Shipping and click the menu button. Select Custom Fields from the menu.
Press the Add Field button and define the custom field(s).
Once you set up your custom fields, you will be able to map them in StarShip, either for custom write-back or to StarShip User Definable fields for import.
To access Custom Write-Back Setup, select Setup > Source Interfaces > Fishbowl Online, and under Interfaces, select the Customize Interface button for Shipments. Then select the Custom Write-Back Setup heading.
