After you Ship/Process a shipment, StarShip updates the Fishbowl Shipment with the following information.
Freight
When freight write-back is enabled for Shipments in Fishbowl Settings, the freight cost is written to the Cost field in the Carton Details in the Ship Details > General tab.
Shipment Status
Depending upon how you set up Write-Back in Fishbowl Settings, the Shipment Status may be updated to “Packed” or “Shipped”. When a shipment is voided, StarShip will return the Status to “Entered” from “Packed” or “Shipped”.
Notes
The shipment information defined in the Notes Settings will write back to the Notes memo field on the Details tab of the Ship Details screen.
Custom Write-Back
Custom write-back occurs to fields that are set up in Fishbowl Custom Write-Back Setup.
Custom Fields
- Sales Order Header Fields:
StarShip will write back to any of the Sales Order Custom fields on the Sales Order Header that you defined in Custom Write-Back Setup. - Shipment Header Fields:
StarShip will write back to any of the Shipment Custom fields on the Shipment Header that you defined in Custom Write-Back Setup.
Carrier
When mapped in Custom Write-Back Setup, StarShip will write the Ship Carrier Name to the Carrier field on the Fishbowl Ship Details screen
Carrier Service
When mapped in Custom Write-Back Setup, StarShip writes the Ship Carrier Service to the Carrier Service field on the Fishbowl Ship Details screen.
Date Shipped
The Date Shipped on the Fishbowl Ship Details screen is updated with the date the shipment was processed (the StarShip Ready Date field).
Package Fields
Package level fields, such as Package Height, Length, Weight, and Width fields are mapped to the corresponding StarShip Package fields and write back to the Carton Details in Fishbowl by default. If you want the Package Declared Value to write back to Fishbowl, you’ll need to set up the Package Declared Value field mapping in Custom Write-Back Setup.
