This customization is for users of the SPS Commerce Integrated Fulfillment (EDI) solution for Acumatica powered by MAPADOC. It allows StarShip to write shipment information back to your MAPADOC fields on the Shipment in Acumatica. This customization is only available for the Acumatica Shipments document.
How It Works
You will be using this customization in one of these scenarios.
You Pack the Shipment in Acumatica
For this scenario, MAPADOC creates the packages/contents on the existing Acumatica shipment and when you import the shipment into StarShip, packages are maintained so you do not have to repack the shipment in StarShip. When you Ship/Process the shipment in StarShip, the existing shipment and packages would be updated with shipping/tracking information in Acumatica. The MAPADOC package information is retained.
You Pack the Shipment in StarShip
You import the shipment into StarShip and pack the shipment on the Ship screen. When you Ship/Process the shipment in StarShip, the existing Acumatica shipment is updated to create the packages and package contents, including the tracking information.
