3dcart has a Multiple Ship To feature that allows customers to ship an Order to multiple destinations. This feature can be enabled in the 3dcart Dashboard, in Modules > Multiple Ship To.
Since you can specify multiple addresses to which line items will be shipped, StarShip splits the Order into shipments based on the line item Ship To. As each shipment is processed in StarShip, the Shipping Information section on the Order is updated with each shipment’s status. You can then click on each Shipment # to view the shipment information. Tracking numbers are written back to each shipment.
