To install the Sage 100 Link, perform the following steps:
- Initiate a double-click action on the program named ss_link2_sage100.exe. Select the specific Sage 100 version you are using, then select the Install button.
- You will encounter a screen resembling the one shown below. Please proceed by clicking the Next button.
- Enter the path to your Sage 100 system, or alternatively, choose it by selecting the Browse button and then proceed by clicking the Next button.
- Click Install to initiate the installation process. A progress screen will appear to indicate the installation’s state. Upon completion, a screen resembling the following example will be shown.
- Click Finish to complete the installation.
- Restart and login to the Sage 100 system.
- If any of the following screens have been customized using Custom Office, it is necessary to run a utility to update these customized screens with the new fields introduced by the StarShip Link enhancement. These screens include:

- Sales Order Shipping Setup Options
- Sales Order Shipping Data Entry
- Sales Order Shipping History Inquiry
- Common Information – Common Entry
- Here’s how to perform the update:
- Open the Update Custom Panels to Current Level screen from the Custom Office Utilities menu.
- You can run this utility separately for each specific task listed above, for the Sales Order module, Common Information module, or All Modules.
- For more detailed instructions on running this utility, please consult the Sage Help file, accessible by clicking the Question Mark button in the screen’s lower right-hand corner.

- Within the Sales Order Setup menu, access the Shipping Setup Options screen and proceed by clicking OK in response to the following prompt.
- Click the OK button to exit the screen and reopen the Shipping Setup Options screen. On the Entry tab, input the relevant configurations for the StarShip Link Enhancement. It’s important to note that if you previously utilized the StarShip Link 1.0 enhancement, the fields on the Entry tab will retain the previously employed setups. Finally, click the Accept button once all the desired setups have been assigned.
