Sage 100 Link Field Mapping

StarShip allows you to customize how data is translated between Sage 100 documents and the StarShip shipment. Using the field mapping feature, you can control how the data in the source document is translated to StarShip, allowing you to define what information populates the shipment fields and how the data is interpreted into accepted shipment values when necessary.

Steps to access field mapping

  1. Go to Rate/Ship > Sage 100 (your version) StarShip Link and select the company you want to customize.
  2. Login to the Sage 100 system. From the Sales Order Setup menu, open the Shipping Setup Options screen. Click the Customize Maps & Translations button on the Entry tab.
  3. Opening StarShip automatically navigates to Setup > Sage 100 (your version) StarShip Link > Interfaces. From there, choose the Customize Interface button for the Sage 100 Link document.
  4. Select the Select Mappings section. Regarding the mapping details, the process is similar to Sage 100 BOI. To understand more about mapping, please refer to Sage 100 Field Mapping.
