These settings configure Notes write-back to Magento, and are available from Setup > Source Interfaces > eCommerce > Interfaces when you click the Customize Interface button for the Magento Order. Then, click on the Settings heading.
Notes Settings
The Notes Settings contain default shipment detail that are written back to the Comments on the Order when you Ship/Process a shipment in StarShip. You can customize the StarShip fields that are written back to Magento for both Freight and Parcel shipments.
By default, Notes DO NOT write back to the Order. The settings are unchecked. If you enable Notes Write-Back, be aware that due to a Magento limitation, Notes that are written back to the Order by StarShip cannot be removed
Configuring Notes
The Note Tag is the printed title; the information from the StarShip field on the right will appear next to the Tag words in the Magento Comments field. You can change the fields that write back by changing the Note Field, or click the Add Note Settings button to add more fields. When you’re done configuring Notes, click the Save button.
Freight Notes
Check the check box that says “Write the information below to the Magento Order when a Freight shipment is processed in StarShip” to enable Notes write-back for Freight shipments and to display the Notes fields.
These are the default fields for freight shipments.
Parcel Notes
Check the check box that says “Write the information below to the Magento Order when a Parcel shipment is processed in StarShip” to enable Notes write-back for Parcel shipments and to display the Notes fields.
