This information will be used for the line item when the item is shipped via Freight.
Group
When you select a Group, any NMFC information associated with the group is automatically populated on the inventory dialog box. You can access Maintain Groups to add or edit groups by clicking the magnifying glass button.

NMFC Code
Enter or select NMFC codes. If you enter new NMFC information for an inventory item, the NMFC data will be saved to your NMFC database in Maintain > NMFC.

Sub Code
Enter the optional two-digit NMFC Sub Code.
Freight Class
Select a freight class from the drop-down list.
NMFC Description
Enter the NMFC Description for this item. If you selected an already existing NMFC code, this field will be automatically populated.
