To import legacy data, select Database > Import Legacy Data. Select the folder where the XML files reside. The “Select Company to Import” list is populated. If you have more than one set of company data, select the Company from the drop-down list. Then, check the check box next to the type of data you want to import.
Next, select the location to which you want to import. The location is the registered location, visible under the Registration node in StarShip Server Manager.
Finally, choose the import method from the “How to import data” field. You can choose to delete your existing data before importing, keep and update existing data with the new imported data, or keep existing data and skip over any existing records (only importing new data). Note : We recommend creating a database backup before you perform the import.
After clicking Import, you are asked to confirm the import to the selected location. Click Yes to continue.
