After you Ship/Process a shipment, StarShip updates the Fishbowl Online Shipment with the following information.
Freight
When freight write-back is enabled for Shipments in Fishbowl Settings, the freight will write back to the Items in the Cost field for each Carton.
Shipment Status
Depending upon how you set up Write-Back in Fishbowl Settings, the Shipment Status may be updated to “Packed” or “Shipped”. When a shipment is voided, StarShip will return the Status to “Open” from “Packed” or “Shipped”.
Date Shipped
The Shipped date on the General tab of the Shipment is updated with the date the shipment was processed (the StarShip Ready Date field).
Custom Write-Back to Shipments
Shipment Custom Fields
When you map Shipment Custom fields in Custom Write-Back Setup, StarShip will write back to the Custom Fields section of the Shipment.
Carrier
When mapped in Custom Write-Back Setup, StarShip will write the Ship Carrier Name to the Carrier field on the General tab of the Shipment.
Carrier Service
When mapped in Custom Write-Back Setup, StarShip writes the Ship Carrier Service to the Service field on the General tab of the Shipment.
Package Fields
Package level fields, such as Package Height, Length, Weight, and Width fields are mapped to the corresponding StarShip Package fields and write back to the Items in the Dimensions and Weight columns by default. If you want the Package Insurance Amount to write back to Fishbowl Online, you’ll need to set up the Package Insurance Amount field mapping in Custom Write-Back Setup.
