Echo Global Logistics delivers Obsessive Customer Service in the form of Less than Truckload and Logistics and Brokerage Services. Rating, Shipment, Tracking, Generating BOL and Void are supported in Starship

The APIs Supported by ECHO and implemented in Starship:

Account Setup

1. In Starship, select setup-> Carrier Interface-> Echo Global Logistics
2. Select ‘Accounts’ and click on ‘New Account’
   
3. Enter the account name that will identify this account in StarShip. Enter the Account Name, User Id (User Id is the Account Number) and Access Code and then click on ‘Next’
   

4. Enter the Address used for the Echo Global Logistics account # and click on ‘Next’.
   

5. Configure Billing type
   1. Tendering Type: The choices are Call, Electronic, or Daily Pickup. StarShip will only send a pickup request to Echo Global Logistics when Electronic is selected. For the Call or Daily Pickup options, you must contact the carrier directly.
   2. Enable Prepaid: Check to enable a default Prepaid Billing Type.
   3. Default Prepaid Billing Type: This is the default Billing Type for shipments that are paid for by the shipper. You can select from Sender or any other 3PL that you set up in Maintain > 3PL. These settings affect the options available for Billing in the Transportation section of the Shipment Editor.
   4. Click on Next to complete the account setup
      
      

 Key Points

1. The Billing under the transportation section when processing the shipment is defaulted to Third Party and the Billing address is of ECHO, as it is a 3PL.
   

If Customer wants BOL from Starship instead of Echo

1. The Billing Type and Address for ECHO will be defaulted under the Transportation Section in Create Shipment.
   

2. When the user selects the Straight BOL in Starship, the default ECHO address will be printed as the following.
